This Weimaraner portrait, drawn in colored pencil, was commissioned by a woman in Michigan as a gift for her niece. This was a repeat customer who previously commissioned me to do a portrait of her little dachshund and her Doberman. Monochromatic coloring in dogs can make drawing challenging. It is important to have a very good photo to see all of the subtle variations in their coats. Paisley is a beautiful girl and it was a pleasure to create this portrait for her owner!
